#7 Good Food vs Bad Food

Season #1 Episode #7

Have you ever struggled with those thoughts of “naughty foods” or foods you just “shouldn’t have” and then they feel like all you want or that you can’t escape them? If you have, you are definitely not alone. De-bunking the idea of Good Food vs Bad Food is what this episode is all about. Christie and Kami look into the idea of “good food” versus “bad food” and instead suggest that food is morally neutral and many of our struggles around eating and food associations come from this suggestion that foods can be “bad”. We look at the reasons why thinking of food this way can be detrimental to our health and wellness goals and instead look at Mindful Eating principals to help support a more holistic approach to nourishing ourselves from the inside-out. In this episode, you’ll learn: About why classing food as “bad” isn’t helpful How food is actually morally neutral Two of the founding practices of Mindful Eating and how to apply these A look at Intuitive Eating and how to eat what makes you feel good. PLUS, some practical tips about how to put each of these premises into practice and ground your food associations in knowledge and confidence.
